I'm Femi—a student, leader, and developer with a deep passion for software that solves real-world challenges. I’m currently pursuing a B.Sc. in Software Engineering, where I’ve immersed myself in everything from web development and data analytics to AI-driven solutions. Whether it’s building a full-stack application or experimenting with machine learning models, I thrive on transforming innovative ideas into tangible products.
Outside of class, you’ll often find me exploring new tech communities, volunteering at hackathons, and constantly tinkering with emerging tools that spark my curiosity. I believe the best innovations arise when creative minds converge, so I actively seek out collaboration and leadership opportunities. My mission is simple: to build technology that makes a meaningful impact on people’s lives—and to have fun while doing it.

Completed the International Baccalaureate (IB) program, gaining a global perspective through rigorous coursework and hands-on projects. This experience sharpened my critical thinking, research, and communication skills, setting a strong foundation for my future in software and beyond.

Completed high school with a focus on computer science, actively participating in both practical and competitive coding through school clubs. Engaged in University of Waterloo programming contests and local hackathons, building strong problem-solving, teamwork, and coding skills.

DeltaHacks X was an amazing experience for a fun and competitive coding challenge. Tasked with multiple themes, my team and I produced an effective learning tool that every student needs. We dubbed our AI-powered practice set generator "Stud.AI" and we are proud of both the effectiveness and accuracy the hack produced.

The purpose of our "hack"/program is to automatically create and update a Spotify playlist in real-time with little to no inputs. Utilizing Spotify's API, we could modify and edit a user's account and update information such as existing playlists, currently streaming songs, playlist updating and more. With the use of Python3, we were able to extract only the necessary information and create this helpful tool

Converted over 45% of engagements and closed over 20% of total engagements.
